microsoft TERRIBLE SOFTWARE anyway 2001-11-10

I understand what they are trying to do, and appreicate

the fact that they want to limit the information sent

out about these security bugs.

Too bad that it seems microsoft just wants to cover

up for the terrible, shoddy, buggy, bloated, lax

software they write.

Also, nothing would prevent someone from starting a

mailing list and listing all the bugs as they are

found. Again, microsoft products are so shoddily written,

and have such problems with them, that it may be

a good idea to limit all the security information.

I don't know if it will make much of a difference,

because there are so many hundreds and hundreds of bugs

in microsoft software.

I wish them well in attempting to stamp out these

security problems, but given microsofts track record

of covering up, telling lies, writing shoddy software,

trying to scam yet something else----well, I'm sure

you'll understand that I'm kind of skeptical. We all

wish for the end of these stupid worms and bugs, but

since microsoft seems incapable of writing software

that is not terrible, we will have to wait and see.
