I believe that the ID cards are a great idea. Although it might take a while in perfecting the technology we have to move in that direction. We obviously do not know who the hell is in our country and what their goals are! Of course it will not solve every problem but it will help a great deal especially in the area of information dissemination amongst the INS, CIA, FBI and local authorities, which up to date they are pretty pitiful at doing. And as far as the ACLU they have to get into the real world and stop thinking everything is theoretical. I worked on 103 of the North Tower and I would like the ACLU to explain to me where the rights and civil liberties for my friends and colleagues who were annihilated on that tragic day of September 11 were?
