This is an interesting article. This reminds me of when I was a technician at a college and the whole SETI craze was out there. Personally, I never installed it on any machines, but I know some other techs that did. Installing one of these types of programs should not be a felony. If his boss asked him not to install it, and he did anyway, than he should have just been fired and possibly punished by the school. This college is wasting so much more time and money investigating a case like this when the tax payers money would be better used for something else(actually, almost anything else). My 2 cents.
