Microsoft is serious about security. Their .net initiative will not have a chance without security, privacy and trust. Windows is full of holes and Passport was hacked in 30 minutes. How can MSFT build a transactional engine when all their products can be hacked? IT CAN'T.

Trust will happen when Passport and Windows are hardened with hardware. The is a company called Wave Systems that has a solution already available. They have partnered with AMD, EDS and Samsung to bring it to market.
