Well, I'm still going to suspend judgement. I initially thought they (Bill) were quite serious and had really decided to make a genuine effort. It's easy to be cynical, so I decided, perhaps wishfully, to give them the benefit of the doubt. I admit that this initial step doesn't sound promising, as they have hired an attorney/prosecutor to be their 'strategist'(?). This sounds admittedly bizarre, but I can't believe that they would try honestly to have a litigator and spinner on the job that they are obviously under scrutiny for having not performed, any longer.

I will thus suspend judgement, until I see what sorts of ACTIONS take place. A single hiring, however dubious, still constitutes their 'gearing up' phase, and they are new at 'thinking about' security, lacking paradigms in their organization, so it's quite possible that further, more technical hires, are waiting in the wings (who admittedly SHOULD be titled strategists, again).

Wait and see, wait and see. If we continue to lambaste their best efforts, all incentive to strive will will be removed. If they're damned even if they do, they just won't.
