AOL Time Warner's [NTSE:AOL] Netscape unit is snooping on searches performed by users of its latest Navigator browser at Google and other search sites.

This is a "sleazy" practice and the only reason it's not all over CNN is because Microsoft isn't the culprit. I'm not a huge fan of Microsoft but I can't stand the double standard when it comes to other organizations. Netscape is certainly infringing upon the user community's privacy and the majority of users don't know it's happening. The fire should be held to Netscape's feet to end this practice.
