The (DMCA) Digital Millennium Copyright Act clearly isn't enough for some people. Massachusetts and Texas are - in curious formation - considering bills that will extend it to make firewalls (among other things) illegal.

That's complete crap .. to put it bluntly. Next all cellphones will be devoid of the data protection option. Someone needs to enroll these computer illiterate lawmakers in a basic computer skills class. Those individual proposing laws ..don't understand the technology well enough to use it efficiently ..let alone hinder others.

(Just think) No firewalls ..what are these people thinking. If there are a lot of defacements now then what would happen to random sites if these security tools were curtailed. I would love to give one of these suits a piece of my mind. Individuals like that would be lost without their AOL@home .
