I think the DoD should be more concerned with the actual abilities of the individual that implements any type of security for them. You can be the most patriotic citizen that is "loyal to the U.S.", yet leave gaping security holes in code, network infrastructures, etc..

The DoD needs to understand that a dedicated I.T. security professional is just that, *dedicated to security*. This is regardless of where that persons loyalties may be. Just because a person is loyal to the U.S. does not ensure the proper implementation of security infrastructures in any way. The DoD will most likely end up learning this truth the hard way...
