So... according to this, is it still legal for telephone companies to stay operative?

When you make a phone call, you get redirected through several switches along the way that you are not informed about. Since you are not informed about the existence of switches when you make your call, does that mean that the phone company "conceals the existence of

a telecommunications service"?

And what about TV relay stations? They re-transmit a signal, but the final receiver does not know that it was sent from elsewhere.

No TV for the Michigans either then, it would seem....
