Keep in mind that this was to have Kevin in to speak to the company, not do a pen test, or given him any access to anything.
I think that speaks volumes about Ira's attitude, and whether his position on the topic has more to do with trustworthyness vs. a personal vendetta against Kevin.
(My personal bias is that I think Ira has a massive, undeserved ego, and can't stand that Kevin is better known, more respected, and just generally liked better as a person. So there.)
