I've read your opinion. You're right, I did generalize about whitehats. Here's how I feel about it. Whitehat's around the world attend the Blackhat conference in Las Vegas every summer to learn new and exciting ways to exploit security vulnerabilities. Whitehats use information acquired from the Blackhat community to secure networks, then they call them criminals for using unlawful tactics to obtain this information. In my opinion, when someone uses information acquired from blackhats to fulfill their duty as a whitehat, they're supporting blackhat activity.
