I have to disagree that the electric grid is safe from an internet attack...

At least it should be... and would be.... if systems were properly designed

and structured so that there is no link or path between the www and

internal process control systems...

But... we have seen how stupid systems can be with the theft of credit card

numbers and alteration of high school student records.....

Too many systems do not have even basic separations between internet access

and internal processing or databases.
