British authorities arrest hacker wanted as `Fluffi Bunni'
Ted Bridis, The Associated Press 2003-04-29

It strikes me as strange that there seems to be two trains of thought here - either respect or he had it coming. Either way, I think it prudent to remind people of the current reported facts:

He was arrested under a pending arrest warrant for 'forgery' charges. In fact it is reported that this arrest warrant is for 'non-attendance' at crown court - which unfortunately carries a 6-12 month sentence and big fine. It is also reported that he has been questioned in conjunction with hacking cases, but as yet there are no charges being brought - either lack of evidence or maybe it isnt the right person.

Either way, he is looking at a prison term for an potentially unconnected offence. Therefore the slagging match between respect or deserves it is rather un-necessary.
