I easily agree that computer crime sentences are not stiff enough, nor do I think enough is being done about the 'crimes'. I have been the victim of Dedicated Denial Service attacks, attempted attacks to my personal computer and total destruction of a Internet Service Provider I was partners in. If you think that this type of crimes aren't theft then your crazy. They do cause both financial and mental emotional harm. You can be 'stalked' on a computer just like in real life. It would seem police agencies do not take this serious enough and most politicians don't either until or unless it happens to them. People like Lyn Htun aka Danny-Boy and Samir Rana aka t0rner among so many others running rampant in places like Irc chat networks, should be tracked and arrested. I certainly am not sure what the punishments should be but I'd be glad to discuss it. One thing I think would be the best thing would be Finacial restitution.
