Feds: 'Hacker Journal' Implicates Heckenkamp

Meticulous notes recovered from his computer allegedly link the accused eBay hacker to intrusions at over one hundred universities and companies. Heckenkamp's family says he's the victim of a frame-up.

Actually from various reports and articles both here and abroad, it appears that he was a very skilled hacker. Unfortunately he was not as skilled at covering himself outside a system as he was inside.

He shows a complete lack of common sense, and his defense is neither clever nor effective.

Yet another embarrassment to the black hat community and a direct example or the Mentor's words. (refer to the Hackers manifesto if not familiar)

If you plan to hack and crack. don;t just learn the methods to compromise a system learn how to cover yourself and defend yourself. DO NOT follow Heckenkamps lead.
