If it's "just a game", then why cheat? It's not like winning will get you anything. It makes more sense to cheat on a test or something. At least you profit from it in some way.

Cheating in a game is like playing with matchbox cars, and having them violate the speed limit (to scale). And cheating in a multiplayer game is like the kid who insisted that "his car goes fastest" even though they all had the same toy cars. Man, what an obnoxious kid.
