i agree with on almost every premise, but a difference is the lines of code each program has think what it would be like if you were an admin who was told to make a "unhackable network"(an impossibility i might add), you would have to go over zillions of lines of code the reason its an impossibility is because 1.) who would look over every line of code they decide to put on a system it would take u like 10 years to solo look over the billions of line of codes in windows, what are u gonna do, start at windows 95 code and install it when longhorn comes out 12 someodd years later, its more the fact that they try but its logically impossible, its more likely for devs to do this because they write the code, but when u write the code and the platform under u is unstable, oops theres 3 billion expliots ripe for the taking, if u want a single company to be THE internet developer, then have fun, i think itll get really boring around here, especially with goverment hooting and hollering that they only have 1 thing to legislate instead of the impossible 10,billion companies to watch over, or would you prefer to be watched by the government 24/7, and on a similar note in terms of going over code, microsoft supposedly went over alot if all of SP2(keyword supposedly lol) source code and it still has exploits being found every day, admins are just stupid drones who install whats new and SUPPOSEDLY better
