It would be in everyone's best interest to put a stop to this now by blocking the ip scanning, and if it continues, blocking the whole subnet... that's what we'll do, and if someone asks why they can't get to our sites, we'll tell them why, and to take their business to a more ethical isp.

When they lose their business and are blocked by enough people, their scans will lose their effectiveness for whatever purpose they are intended. Knocking on the front door is one thing but when you run to every door, window and crack of the house it's another...
