The Arcade Underground
Kevin Poulsen, SecurityFocus 2000-07-10

They save Pac Man and Pengo for future generations while ducking the copyright police. Being an arcade archivist is no game.

Industries SHOULD not Die , and people should not games for free and its true new games costs gazilions of money FOR SALARIES , well not everyone owns flats on manhatan or 2 or 3 ferraris well , salaries indeed ... but lets not get away from the article gentleman , the point is that they are keeping a library of OLD games live forever wether games company choose to charge for those roms , fine by them ...

they make bucks we get happy and be emulation fans can go around reliving and rejoycing and no longer be do we need to have an underground in such a way ... right ?

To make make games you need to work hard but to make the hardware you need to work equally hard , but to solve software bugs , enhacements , and "emulate hardware" that is also hard , rather say quite hard ... AND most of EMu authors Do IT for Free ... there is space for everyone , we just need rules, standards, and cheap roms , hell we even could buy the roms from the games companys homepage for bargain and limited rights or sht like who wouldn't spend a dollar for a pac man rom and emulator , well then emu authors could get some money too would you think ?

please feel free to reply ... there is alot of people working hard for nothing , emu authors , rom dumpers ( who own the roms ) , web masters dedicatig their time ...
