The biggest names in computer security say an international agreement threatens to leave the criminals holding all the cards.

Like so many government initiatives, the International Treaty to outlaw 'hacker' tools, is a typical demonstration of confusing activity with accomplishment. If a script kiddie is willing to snag and post X thousand CC numbers for public consumption, he/she will probably not be deterred by the threat of being caught with nmap, stacheldraht or l0phtcrack on his box.

Instead of twiddling thumbs and being faked out by a false sense of accomplishment, to the authors of this laughable document I say, "Join the fight! The battle will be here for a quite a while regardless of what you choose to outlaw."
