If it wasn't for the existance of security tools, his company wouldn't be in

business. Yet again, it's not the tool but the person using it. If this

was an ideal world, then then the IDS tool of Network Flight Recorder

wouldn't be needed would it? I think that Mr. Ranum should watch what he says.

Ranum needs to remember the fact that if it wasn't because of of the *malicious or

nefarious usage* of these tools, his company wouldn't be in business. In fact,

and he'd probably be selling copy machines right about now. I think that Ranum

needs a LART from the sec community.
