This article then arouses my curiosity about what is considered "law breaking" activity. Here is what I don't understand... NBC askes him to attempt to break into their network (a test of their network security) which he does. But after he does this, NBC doesn't want to do anything with it because of some "law breaking" activity. How is this "law breaking"? Are all security firms such as @Stake and Foundstone breaking the law too???
