AT&T said Wednesday that it would forgive all of the outstanding long distance charges that the company had been trying to collect from victims of the notorious "Yes-Yes" voicemail subversion fraud.

service they were using, instead of having an amnesty,
maybe someone would wake up. these people could then sue the ones
responsible for their pbx-es, and in the end everyone would start caring
more about security.
by giving an amnesty this opportunity was wasted.
