Credit card fraud "power users" with programming skills and no fear are making it easier for newbies to break into white collar crime, according to a report from the Honeynet Research Alliance this week.

You forgot to mention about emerging "E-Commerce" solutions, some of which are Open Source/Open Systems solutions, that offer very little security to protect credit card numbers. One such location provides real/live e-commerce web sites that are using the *default* methods of access, which is *cleartext* (or unencrypted) storage, showing the buyers names, credit card numbers, with expiration dates.

...unless....

This is ALL part of some HUGE government conspiracy, then all bets are off... ;)
