In recent months the satellite TV giant has filed nearly 9,000 federal lawsuits against people who've purchased signal piracy devices. But some of those devices have legitimate uses, and innocent computer geeks are getting caught in the crackdown.

These suits are an example of carpetbombing to get rid of a few bugs. No investigation was EVER performed before sending the letters out. They can't prove any of their allegations, so they are just causing thousands of people undue stress and financial harm. They are the ones who should be sued for extortion and harassment.
This just proves that ANYONE can sue ANYONE and the government really doesn't care, as long as you pay the filing fee...
