Passing laws to help companies hide their flaws is ridiclous. If M$ can sell an overpriced OS, they should have a crew of people cracking their own products to prevent these kinds of problems, not whining because low budget research firms and hackers can figure their products out better.

M$ was aware of the flaws in having open ports by default back in Win95. Have they EVER shipped a product that has all ports closed by default? Even XP, that has the built in firewall, is turned off by default.
