Racketeering suit filed against DirecTV
Kevin Poulsen, SecurityFocus 2003-09-03

Directv sent me a letter , and call them back I talk to them. And they demand me to pay 3500.00 or face a lawsuit. Well I try to tell them that I had no use of trying to program nothing because I have no directv system. then they told me why did I not send the product back to get my money back. I said I don't even remember how I got it. Then they told me that was piracy. How can they tell me that if they haven't Investagate my home and see if that is so. I don't have anything to do with illegal stuff in my home.
