I support him all the way. Put him in bars for life! You are a stupid idiot. Here's a great senerio for ya. You are the so called Administrator, MIS, CIO, IT manager, etc... You are the FIRST line of defense from something like this happening. You are supposed to be UP-TO-DATE with EVERYTHING as much as possible. What needs to happen is that if you don't know about this until it happens then you are not doing your job as the title of your position indicates you are. You need to go back to school, and get up-to-date! Also, if someone like Lamo does find exploits, and security flaws in a company or corporation. I will DEFINITELY hire him because look what he has done already. ALSO, so called top guns of your company in the high tech world.....if a system has problems. Your job is to repair it, and fix it causing no information loss. NOT to say "It's old, and needs to be replaced with a freakin DELL, GATEWAY, or any of the sort that will make the problem go away with a stupid patch cable being stuck into the wall thinking you just saved the world. A regular certified PC tech possibly knows more how to save that system then your quick expensive fixes.
