Man invades US.mil networks, tells hacks, lands in jail

A computer security consultant who broke into US military networks to demonstrate their vulnerability to attack by cyber-terrorists or hostile governments was arrested in San Diego yesterday.

On the one hand, HOW DUMB CAN HE BE?

On the other, I don't like the way the gov't and corps are handling these cases.

I mean there are people that only get 1-10 years for murder, rape, etc... While computer crimes may go up as high as 30 years.
