Court limits in-car FBI spying

An appeals court this week put the brakes on an FBI surveillance technique that turns an automobile driver's on-board vehicle navigation system into a covert eavesdropping device, after finding that the spying effectively disables the system's emergency and roadside assistance features.

Yeah, I would have to agree with Snowdog's statement there. Now, as cognitive as the FBI is, you would have thought they would have said they were ready to pass along any trouble flags that would come off the frequency. Anyhow ... what scares me is the fact that I can be wathced by something of my own that wasnt inteded to watch me. whats next, microwaves that packet sniff?
