Why should @Stake be willing to hire people with convictions? 2000-09-04

In my country the damned police themselves are allowed previous misdemeanour convictions, & police corruption is very nearly non-existant. What makes you think that a conviction free record in an e-security firm employee is any more vital? I'm not even interested in your comment it shows blatant lack of thought and consideration. We are not merely talking about an office procedure, we are talking about attitudes & values in society at large. The American government has been hiring individuals with criminal records for donkeys years. I think you, and any close minded person that would judge someone by something they did years ago are entirely naive.

Phiber is merely one example, who is to say that @Stake would not deal with this issue on a case by case basis! I believe theydid not hire Abene for media reasons primarily.
