the problem is the people who're legislating these computer crime laws

know absolutely nothing about computers. how can you draft fair laws or even prosecute someone fairly when the people who are responsible for such tasks are for the most part totally ignorant when it comes to computers? doesn't make much sense. this would probably explain the injustices surrounding previous computer crime cases.
