He was arrested but has not yet been charged. They also think he is the author of T0rn.
THEY HAVE NOT CHARGED HIM WITH WRITING T0RN !!!!
We will have to wait and see but I suspect this guy used T0rn and they are going to charge him with what he used it for. Either that or it is something related to an American crime (one of your "free" laws like DMCA) and the FBI have applied for extradition.
I think you should probably keep all the "White hats take dump over tool writing risk grrrr civil liberties grrrr" headlines in reserve in case they actually do charge him with what you fear.
