Messing with the 911 system certainly could be considered cyberterrorism...

In 1941, Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. It has been proven, well documented, and even aired on public television, that select individuals in our government had prior knowledge of Japan's intentions; some reports show weeks, some reveal even months in advance. In the week prior to the attack many vessels were ordered *back* into Pearl Harbor's port, as well as many vessels were moved to a smaller part of the port where they would be required to line up right next to each other; coincidentally making a more consolidated target for the Japanese bombers. Prior to the attack on Pearl Harbor, the American population was very disinterested in having the U.S. join the ongoing war with approximately 80% NOT in favor of sending their boys off to die on foreign soil. The warmongers in our government at the time needed a reason and a cause to 'push' the American population into the war - Pear Harbor was that reason. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, the U.S. favor to enter World War II increased to almost 70%. Hook, line, and sinker. The American public went on a 'witch hunt' and rounded up hundreds of thousands of Japanese immigrants and shipped them off to relocation 'camps' all over the country.
The 911 attacks basically did the same thing. Two weeks after the attacks, Attorney General John Ashcraft even stated "we must prevent first, prosecute second." Guilty before proven innocent?? The 342-page USA PATRIOT Act ([House Resolution 3162] - acronym for "Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism") was signed into law by president Bush on October 27th, 2001, the day after first being approved by our panicked congress 357-to-66, and in the senate 98-1. The USA PATRIOT Act zipped through in six weeks - destroying much of the Fourth Amendment in far less time than Congress typically expends on routine bills that raise no constitutional concerns whatsoever. Let us also not forget that both the House and Senate were closed several times in the weeks following the attacks, due to security concerns and anthrax scares, greater reducing their time to properly review the bill. It wasn't until months later that congressmen and house reps started to admit that they did not fully review the bill, and were unaware of some of the anti-Constitutional provisions. The most irony comes from the idea that this bill contains anything patriotic.
Another little-known fact; while the American public was wide-eyed glued to the television sets watching how the U.S. military just captured Saddam Hussein in a hole the weekend of December 13th, 2003, our ever-trustworthy president signed into law PATRIOT II; this time, called "The Domestic Security Enhancement Act of 2003." It should be also noted that president Bush has only one other time before signed any bill on a weekend during his term as president
.
At this time, over 450 cities, towns, and counties, across this nation have kicked out the USA PATRIOT Act, but very little of this is heard of on the mainstream media.
America is in trouble and it desperately needs it's citizens to care and start taking stock in the future of their country. Open borders that allow non-Americans into this country only reduce the number of those who do; but that's an entirely different subject of conversation.
If you don't read any of the above, or doubt every single word, know this:
A patriot is not measured by how he blindly stands behind the government. A patriot is measured by how he stands behind his country, his life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Our constitution was designed to question the powers of the government, inherent with checks and balances. Our founding fathers escaped an oppressive government in their homeland and purposely designed our constitution with this in mind. A big government is a dangerous government.
President Lincoln may have said it best:
"America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." -- Abraham Lincoln
