-> First of all it seems a new bill is passed everyday and all it does is fix a mistake or create a new problem. That is a problem. If the gov't actually took its time and made "good" bills I don't think any of this would be a problem. After all how much can 11 911 calls create more than $5,000.00 worth of damage?!
-> Cyber terrorism. First of all (web TV)? Come-on if this guy has web TV he really has an issue and should not even be allowed on the Internet.
-> {Before we can discuss the possibilities of ?cyber terrorism, we must have some working definitions. The word ?cyber terrorism? refers to two elements: cyberspace and terrorism.
Another word for cyberspace is the ?virtual world?. Barry Collin defines the virtual world as ?symbolic - true, false, binary, metaphoric representations of information - that place in which computer programs function and data moves.?(2)
Terrorism is a much-used term, with many definitions. We will use the United States Department of State definition:
?The term ?terrorism? means premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by sub national groups or clandestine agents.?(3)
If we combine these definitions, we construct a working definition such as the following:
?Cyber terrorism is the premeditated, politically motivated attack against information, computer systems, computer programs, and data which result in violence against noncombatant targets by sub national groups or clandestine agents.?}[http://www.cs.georgetown.edu/~denning/infosec/pollitt.html]
I will let the rest of ya figure it out.
Have a nice day.
