Why publish a body count 2004-04-06

There is no reason to publish a body count this only tells the hacker how good his attack was.

I have handled cases of Blaster and other windows viruses. Now broadband network connections. The machine can be reinfected before a reinstall is complete yep hope this is fix The filewall should. Other problem having to download the fixes why book covers would have given me a fast way to get the update file with out caused pain for dial up users. Note microsoft does not allow the files to be on mag cd covers.

The final on Is a really big pain. All windows I have don't have a patch backup program. IE I download patchs I can back them up to cd so I don't have to download them again. Note even linux could be made better with a project that does this it is not just a Microsoft fault.

We should be working on the fault in the system that makes these problems last longer.

Basicly If all email servers scan incoming and out going email with clamav we should be able to get a email virus to last less than 24 hours. This should be our objective free software I think is the only way this could be done.
