Will Microsoft also acknowlege that they sat on the vulnerabilities for over 4 months before releasing the patch(s)? Will they also take some liability for those companies and individuals affected by the vulnerabilites before the patch was made available??

Somehow I don't think so. I also don't think you'll see the above issues in a mainstream article.
