Apple patches critical Mac OS X hole

Apple Computer on Friday issued a patch for a security hole in Mac OS X that could have allowed hackers to take over vulnerable machines, but the company went out of its way to downplay the importance of the bug.

If the world were reversed and Mac OS was the world dominant OS then im sure that it would be a windows user making that comment. Security through obscurity doesnt mean your secure just that no one can be bothered to write malware for such a small return you dont get famous because a few hundred macs have your virus you do when thousands of windows ones do.
