Backdoor program gets backdoored
Kevin Poulsen, SecurityFocus 2004-06-11

The author of a free Trojan horse program favored by amateur computer intruders found himself with some explaining to do to the underground last month, after his users discovered he'd slipped a secret backdoor password into his popular malware, potentially allowing him to re-hack compromised hosts.

ok well i will have to agree with X here, OP is very popular and authoritories get piossed off having a MP isnt that much of a bad idea cause it could easily save his ass, if it was discovered by the wrong people it might not be the greatest thing but it isnt like he put the MP as 'optix' or 'password' it was a fairly long complex and random set of characters so not many could retrieve this MP and as for 1.32 its even more complex and better encryption

OP is a great program for not only the kiddies who want to steal hotmail passwords but for large companys who want to monitor their employees... its not an illegal program im sure he coded it in order to monitor computers owned and administrated by the user of OP wheather thats what happens with it or not is no fault to sleaze

people who write these programs are far from scum they take skills and are intended for legal purposes, OP is great and has the potential to go retail but its not it has remained free which is great
