A U.S. House subcommittee on Thursday approved what would be the first federal law to specifically target Internet spyware.

It's about time, although I would prefer criminal charges to be able to be filed not lame civil FCC charges... which often end with minor fines and slaps on the hands while it continues on. But like most FCC stuff its bs... FCC shouldnt matter in this, it should be a completely legal issue not reglatory.
