is better in every possible way.
I suggest mozila browser for those of you
still using IE. I still use IE every once in
a while you can make it stonger by doing this.
Setup active-x and java to ask on every use.
This is not for everyone. Before switching
to mozilla i had this setup and i got very
acustom to it but it will ask you every single
time java/active-x is to be used on a page.
A lot of sites use one or both. But it makes
your viewing very safe because you have a lot
of control. But almost no one else could use
my computer because the question box would
bug them to death. Anyway 100days sounds
very long to me thats over 3months. The only
company i know that takes that long is
microsoft, (There getting better, A little)
But i remember when microsoft had a flaw in
IE with the gopher protocol (old text only)
and they suggested to disable it. if i remember
they did put out a patch but it took forever
and in newer relases they droped support for
good. you can still find it in the proxy
section of the browser options but it dose
not work. just goes to show if its too hard
they'll just drop it rather then fix it.
they also drop support for some of there
products still in wide use in order to get
you to upgrade. windows nt4 (still very much
in use) and older copies of office. they
would rather let there users get tagged by
flaws and worms then take a little extra
time patch them seeing as most flaws found
in 2k,xp go back to NT4.
