Gates Defends Microsoft Patch Efforts

SYDNEY, Australia--Microsoft chairman Bill Gates defended the company's handling of security patches Monday following widespread attacks on the Internet by suspected Russian organized crime gangs.

That's true, to a point. Windows is an inherently insecure operating system, security holes aside. It's not possible to secure Windows without severely crippling it. You can do that on Linux, and others, just fine.

Anyway who has even the slightest clue should understand this by now.
