After this ability was discovered, some people (whom will remain nameless [look in the article]) have attempted to take credit and build up their reputation from this. You may even find some of them giving talks on how this is accomplished with the use of VXML on some providers. Perhaps if you're in the audience at the time, you could ask them who came up with these techniques and how they came about the knowledge. They may just forget to mention the people that deserve credit.
