U.S. regulators on Wednesday ruled tentatively in favor of an FBI and Justice Department proposal that would compel Internet broadband and VoIP providers to open their networks up to easy surveillance by law enforcement agencies.

until this administration is voted out of office and who ever is voted in appoints someone into the attorny generals position that belives in a citizens right to privacy, we can only expect much much more of this sort of paranoia. Only we the voters can effect change. Nobody will do it for us. As I was told in 1947, while in grade school. Our teacher said that the attitude of "Let George do it" would take us as a nation down as the Roman empire went down.

It is now almost 58 years later, and guess what folks. She was right. Right on the money.
