hi people,

I m network admin, and what I know is:

-you could get the best security softwares.

But

-Users are still the same.

Like the guy who open everything he found on his mailbox,

or the others who go to xxx websites and got hacked,

there's a lot a fishing, and in a lot of case, it's because the user was silly.

Users are the problem. On which OS is there the most s*ll* users ? .... XP in fact, because you bought it generally with your computer, put MSN Messenger and ICQ on , because "It's cool" and they don't care.

A lot of people never does any update, and surely 20% of them never heard about it before seeing it on TV or newspaper.

The fact is that there's no "miracle" patch.

I ve bought a Windows XP family, which is trully an incomplete XP. When Microsoft put it on the market, I think they said "XP gonna bring back, security is the user problem, so we don't care".

How many times Linux or Unix OS have been exploited in the last 15 years ? in my opinion less than 10 times.

How many times XP OS has been exploited in the last 3 years ? whow, can't think of it, it' s unbelievable !!

But at first, it' s an "user" problem.
