Interesting given the fact SP2 has been available for several months in BETA and RC form for testing purposes. Sounds like some of these schools waited until the last minute to consider this and simply started pointing fingers. Why should Microsoft delay the release to satisfy education institutions at the expense of everyone else who would remain vulnerable? I'm not a Microsoft Fanboy but I think they are getting too much bad press over this. Issues like the low bandwidth of a school's Internet connection, poorly written custom apps, and a lack of technical understanding should be their own responsibility. I liked the one solution of providing the download off their Intranet but I fear that takes too much effort for these complainers.
