they just wrote an ircparser and scanner.
And just because you can type !scan in an IRC channel and get thousands of computers automatically infected, doesnt mean you're 'elite' or 'leet' or whatever the hell you like to call yourselves.
The only people I can respect are the people that find the holes, write the exploits, and report them to a security site and/or to the proper software developer.
Anyone can get a 100,000 unit botnet, not everyone can do what real hackers do.
To the packet kiddies and self-proclaimed hackers: Get over yourselves, go out and get a life, or do something useful with your time.
