first off i'd like to comment on your part about pirated windows. i for one run a free operating system, Freebsd and have for many years, i stay away from windows purely because of all this shit. and secondly, i also know everyone referenced in this article, "Emp" and "Krashed" have both launched very large DDoS attacks towards several of my servers. because i "pissed them off" thats nice and all, but choose a better means, shit, if you're that good, track down my house addy, show up at my door and beat the shit out of me.. might land you with less jail time. as far as "real hackers" vs. "script kiddies" i consider a real hacker to be someone who has extensive knwoledge of many differnt types of systems and can "hack" thier way around. i by no means consider a hacker to be someone running aroung breaking into computer systems, be insecure or not. "script kiddies" are purely people who download publicly available software of the internet, change a couple variables in a program code and launch a virus to uninfected systems.. scanning for exploits that are publicly known, creating an exploit and distributing the facts about it is entirely differnt, which is what i consider a "real hacker to do. so before you go slandering everyone who replies ot this post about "how good of people they are" think first about what kind of life they choose to live, and how the type of life they choose is not a life that is perfectly "legal" i myself had at one point ran a botnet, until i relized how pointless having 30,000 comprimised hosts was. you can flood a computer offline. big deal. why not break into thier payroll system and have yourself mailed a check for $1,000? if you wanna "crack" make it wourth your while, not just a waste of time.
