How about change the thinking of the people writing the crap software? (i.e. Microsoft) How about holding big business responsible for their actions....or lack there of.
If Microsoft can release a patch for a vulnerability in less than three days, then they could have coded the software correctly in the first place.
Consumers need to get over the "I want it now" attitude and adopt the "I want it correct" attitude.
Secondly, the depraved and mindless individuals who find joy in wreaking havoc on the world's computers need to be taken out shot. Seriously, is that the most constructive activity they can think of? If so that is just sad...way sad.
