3 or 4 Years ago i would have thought that being responsible for what someone did with my computer, should they be able to break into it, to be complete bullshit. But maybe its just that kind of mentality that is required.

You dont need to be A+ Certified to know how to turn on Automatic Updates. Its not difficult. And if the overly exerting task of enabling a service to update your computer for you is too much. you can always just visit Windows Update.

Or you could take the long route...

Start -> Run -> "services.msc" - Right click on "Automatic Updates" and click Start - then Right click again go to properties, Make Startup Type equal to Automatic. Click OK

Is it really that difficult? How hard could it be? I mean its trivial to me. but even to a simple person...how hard could that really be?
